More Information on the Conceal & Carry Classes Hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

One hour of range practice and qualifying at the range   

Six hours of classroom training in the care and use of a handgun and the requirements for shooting the firearm

     Two hours of instruction in the laws and regulations concerning conceal & carry.              

All certificates are handed out at the end of the class.

Qualifying at the Range:

You will need to fire a pistol (semi-auto) and a revolver, 25 shots at a target placed 7 yards (21 feet) and hit the target at least 25 times somewhere in the black area of the target for each pistol.  After you show proficiency with both you will fire 20 rounds at a target and you must hit 15 of 20 shots in the kill zone of the target.

      FREE GUNS & AMMO !!!                    STARTING IN OCTOBER EACH PAID REGISTRATION INCLUDES THE FIREARM AND AMMO FOR THE CLASS.  THE PISTOLS ARE BOTH ,22 CAL AND VERY ACCURATE.  PAYMENT AND  REGISTRATION MUST BE MADE BY THE LAST WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE CLASS.

ALL KANSAS APPLLICANTS WILL ALSO GET THE USE OF THE PISTOLS FOR THE CLASS AND THE PASSPORT PHOTO WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE CLASS!!  ALL KANSAS APPLICANTS WILL SAVE AN AVERAGE OF $60.00 BY TAKING THE CLASS AT OUR CLASSROOM.

Items you will need for the class:   

A semi-auto and a revolver type pistol (any caliber)   25 rounds of ammo for each for practice and 20 rounds for the pistol type you want to qualify with.  Hearing and eye protection are provided as well as targets.  The above firearms are furnished along with the ammo for class.  A good attitude and a willingness to listen and learn are also needed but you must provide them.  All other classroom material will be provided. 

LAYAWAY PLANS

We now offer a layaway plan for the Conceal and carry class.  A $35.00 deposit will hold a place in the class of your choice.  The deposit will cover the cost of all materials needed for the class (except firearms) and is not refundable.  The balance of the cost may be made in payments or paid in full on the day of the class.  Classes are held every two weeks and we are able to set you up at your convenience for the class.
